Education: BS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Cooper is passionate about advancing and expanding cellular therapies for combatting all types of cancer. He is driven by his experiences with family members' battles with cancer and strives to give other families a strong sense of hope in their own battles. Currently, his research is focused on improving cell-specific delivery of genetic material to target immune cells. After graduating, Cooper plans to continue genetic engineering and cellular immunotherapy research and development in the biotech industry.

Cooper is currently completing his internship on the Cell Biology Research and Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Carlsbad.
