Education: BS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly; MS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Gabby's interest in regenerative medicine was inspired by her family's experience with autoimmune diseases, motivating her to pursue therapies that can address the underlying causes of these conditions rather than just their symptoms. At Cal Poly, this passion grew through research in the Tissue Engineering Lab and experience with cell therapy manufacturing, assay development, and data analysis. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in industry, with hopes to contribute to the development of innovative therapies for patients living with autoimmune diseases.

Gabby is currently completing her internship in the Clinical Pharmacology & Safety Sciences team at AstraZeneca.
