Education: BS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Rachel's undergraduate research on regeneration in invertebrates and her minor in bioinformatics inspired her to continue her education in regenerative medicine. She is fascinated by the potential for stem cell therapies to treat otherwise untreatable diseases and is interested in applying her background in genetics and bioinformatics to investigate multi-disciplinary approaches to optimizing stem cell therapies. After graduating, she hopes to apply her skills in the biotech industry and continue her education in a doctoral program
