Brittany Beecher

Education:  BS in Aquatic Biology at UCSB; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

After spending her undergrad studying Aquatic Biology, Brittany became intrigued and inspired by the concept of regeneration. Both her personal and professional experiences motivated her to pursue a career in stem cell research. She wants to focus on the pluripotency inherent to stem cells and use that to design cell or tissue engineered therapies to dramatically improve patient quality of care. Brittany plans to matriculate into a doctoral program after graduation. She aspires to oversee human clinical trials or be an integral part of the drug development process during the course of her career.
