Education: BS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly; MS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Cayden has had a drive for Biomedical Engineering from a young age, fascinated by genetics and biology. He has had the ability to grow these passions as an undergraduate at Cal Poly and through internships in San Diego, CA, where he was born and raised. Cayden has recently divided much of his attention towards oncology research, aiming to find meaningful solutions to cancer by means of novel early detection or breakthrough therapeutics in the realm of immunotherapies and regenerative medicine. He plans to build on these skills while in the Regenerative Medicine program and bring his knowledge into his career, aiming to work towards the goal of easing the burden of cancer on patients and their families.
