Education:  BS in Biomedical Engineering; MS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly

Biography: 

David Mendoza is inspired to pursue the art of regenerative medicine by the versatility and specificity that stem cells have on diseases or injuries. They represent the source of both cause and solution for us. He is interested in the life or the differentiation cycle of stem cells. He would like to focus on activating and promoting stem cells outside and inside the body—the ability to reproduce the cells more efficiently. After completing the program, David wishes to continue researching viral-induced cell lineages
