Education: BS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Lily's undergraduate research in virology and molecular biology is what first introduced her to the field of regenerative medicine. It ignited a passion and interest in regenerative medical research, and she is beyond excited to be continuing her education in this field. Lily is highly interested in gene therapy, specifically the role viruses can play in the treatment of genetic disorders. After graduating, Lily plans to continue her education and obtain a PhD, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professor.
