Biography: 

Lucas Rodriggs is a Biomedical Engineering student graduating from Texas A&M University in 2023. He chose to enter the Regenerative Medicine program at Cal Poly due to its unique blend of internship opportunities, cutting-edge research, and comprehensive coursework which perfectly aligns with his passion and aspirations. He is driven by a profound interest in the field's potential to transform lives and fascinated by the prospect of regenerating tissues and organs, Lucas is particularly drawn to the intricate complexities of the nervous system and its relevance in addressing neurological disorders. 

Upon completing the program, Lucas envisions a career in research and development within the realm of regenerative medicine. With a goal to contribute to groundbreaking therapies and treatments, he aims to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, bridging scientific discoveries with practical applications. Looking forward, Lucas is resolute in pursuing a Ph.D. to further advance the field, aiming to push boundaries and usher in a new era of possibilities for regenerative medicine.
