Education: BS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Olivia Watt is pursuing a degree in Regenerative Medicine because of its potential to develop novel therapies for diseases that are currently difficult, or nearly impossible, to treat. She is highly interested in gene therapies and using gene-editing techniques to manage or treat health conditions. Following the program, Olivia intends to either work in the biotechnology industry or earn a Ph.D. in regenerative medicine or a related field to continue her learning and research related to medicine, new therapies, and human health. She hopes to contribute to improved clinical outcomes, both quality of life and patient survival.
