Education:  BS in Animal Sciences; MS in Animal Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Sydney is interested in the Regenerative Medicine Program because its interdisciplinary nature would allow her to combine her experience in animal science with the emerging field of stem cell therapies and treatments. She is excited to explore the different applications of stem cells, particularly how embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells can be utilized for reproductive medicine and wildlife conservation efforts. After graduation, she hopes to combine her experience in genomics and regenerative medicine to pursue a career in research specifically in the field of conservation genetics
