Education: BS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

Biography: 

Victor is fascinated by the potential of stem cell research to innovate and advance within the regenerative medicine field. In particular, he believes this field of science can customize treatments to serve the needs of individual patients. Victor wishes to focus on the possible application(s) of stem cell science within cancer research during his participation in the program. He will explore aspects of cell signaling, genetics, molecular biology, etc., of stem cells as they relate to cancer research. Upon completion of the program, Victor plans to pursue a doctoral degree where he will continue his research of stem cells as a mode of viable therapy for treating cancer.
