Education: BS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly; MS in Biomedical Engineering at Cal Poly

Biography: 

The opportunity to devote himself to new promising therapies to improve the quality of life for others is Ryan’s motivation to further his education in the Regenerative Medicine program. He was first exposed to regenerative medicine concepts in his involvement in tissue engineering and micro-physiological systems research. He hopes to continue in those concepts with a specific focus in tissue engineering and cell therapies. He believes that the future of medicine will include therapies that are specific to the individual patient and are efficiently produced. He plans to use the knowledge and experience gained from the Regenerative Medicine program in his future career in helping develop therapies for autoimmune and metabolic diseases.
