Biography
Anna became a biology major because she wanted to do research and when this opportunity arose it seemed perfect. Stem cells are totally AWESOME, cutting edge and have amazing potential; all that drew her to the program." Anna is interested in working with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). For Anna's career goals, she hopes to enjoy her internship and continue working in the same or similar lab after graduating. She thinks the pursuit of a PhD is a possibility somewhere in her future.
After graduation, Anna began a PhD in Biology at the University of Washington.
The results of Anna's internship project were included in a publication that was published in Nature Communications in 2014.
