Biography
Ashley was interested in the CIRM program because she believes “stem cell technology opens the doors to innumerable possibilities of treatments and potential cures for the future. Ashley has been fascinated by this field since anatomy and physiology class in high school. She wanted to work with tissue regeneration and/or tissue culturing as a means of treating a disease or injury.
After graduating, Ashley obtained a position as a Laboratory Scientist with Dr. Alesha Castillo at the Stanford/VA Medical Center.
