Biography
Chris applied to the CIRM program because of his interest in the potential that stem cell-based therapies could offer and he thought this program would be a great opportunity to become involved in discovering those potentials. Chris would like to be involved in the development of a stem cell-based therapy for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Ultimately, he would like to start a company which revolves around new stem cell therapies.
After graduating, Chris obtained a position as a Manufacturing Engineering with Sadra Medical, working to improve the scale-up of tissue-based heart valve production.
