Education: BS in Biology at UC Davis; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

 

Biography

Gabby was interested in the CIRM program because she "saw it as an opportunity to be a part of new and exciting discoveries." Gabby is particularly interested in Alzheimer's Disease research and the potential use of stem cells as a therapy. She would like to continue researching in the biological sciences and would like to earn a PhD to research and possibly become a professor one day. She thinks it's really great to be part of a close-knit network of people who have variations of similar academic interests.

Gabby is pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD in Biomedical Science - specializing in Neuroscience, at the University of Florida.
