Education: BS in Biology at CSULB; MS in Biological Sciences at Cal Poly

 

Biography

Lizett's interest in the CIRM program was due to the therapeutic potential of the stem cell field. After completing the MS Biology & Specialization in Stem Cell Research program at calpoly, her goal is to get a pHD in cancer biology and eventually work at a research hospital investigating cancer pathology and possible treatment options. 

After graduating, Lizett obtained a positions as a Research Associate at Cedars Sanai Medical Center, in the laboratory of Dr. Dwain Irvin.
